Dhofari Boswellia sacra is the frankincense of the historic incense route. Resin is graded by colour and size, with the palest and largest tears commanding the highest prices — a grading convention that is commercial rather than analytical, and which does not on its own predict the distilled profile.

Materials from Oman1

A material is only shown under an origin where that origin is attached to its record. We do not infer origin from a trade name, and we do not list a country because it sounds right for the material.
