RFQ Terms

How quote requests work and what they do and do not commit either party to.

Effective 6 August 2026

Template document

This is a good-faith template written for a business of this type. It has not been reviewed by a qualified lawyer in any jurisdiction. Have it reviewed against the law where you operate and where you sell before relying on it commercially.

01A request is not an order

Submitting a request for quotation does not create a contract and does not reserve stock. It asks us to investigate and price a requirement.

02Quotes

A quote states price, lot reference where applicable, available quantity, documentation and shipping terms. It is valid for the period stated on it and is subject to the material remaining available. Natural materials sell, and a lot quoted today may be committed tomorrow.

03Information you provide

Specification, destination and documentation requirements are used to source and price your requirement. Accurate information produces an accurate quote; incomplete information produces follow-up questions rather than a fast answer.

04Regulated materials

For CITES-listed species and materials subject to national export controls, we assess the permit pathway to your stated destination before quoting. Where no documented pathway exists, we will decline rather than quote.
