A cargo is only worth buying if it can be lawfully exported, imported and used. Each commodity on ARAM carries the checks that apply to it — shown on its page, enforced before an offer is published, and explained here.

  • 01

    KYC

    Every buyer and supplier is identified, its owners disclosed and screened before any introduction.

  • 02

    Export rules

    Export bans, quotas, levies and state channels by country — checked before an offer is published.

  • 03

    Conflict minerals

    Tin, tantalum, tungsten and gold need mine-of-origin evidence and OECD-aligned due diligence.

  • 04

    Gold

    Gold is offered only to specifically approved buyers, with refinery and export evidence.

  • 05

    Kimberley Process

    Rough diamonds move only between Kimberley Process participants, with a certificate for every shipment.

  • 06

    Uranium

    Information only. Enquiries accepted solely from counterparties licensed by their nuclear regulator.

  • 07

    Radioactive cargo

    Concentrates with natural uranium or thorium may ship as Class 7 dangerous goods.

  • Aromatics

    CITES and aromatics

    Agarwood, sandalwood and other listed species move only with a documented permit pathway to the destination.
