Africa
Established extraction industry for orange blossom, rose centifolia, cedarwood and blue tansy, with mature solvent-extraction capacity.
Morocco combines large-scale cultivation of Citrus aurantium and Rosa centifolia with a well-developed extraction sector. The Dadès and Kelâat M'Gouna valleys supply rose, while orange blossom is concentrated in the north. Moroccan absolutes are a reference point for the category, and the country's processing infrastructure is an example of the origin-side value capture we are interested in supporting elsewhere on the continent.
